Ashburn Rotary Adds to Meeting Portfolio
The Rotary Club of Ashburn has some very exciting news! The board of directors has overwhelmingly approved a new meeting portfolio that increases the value proposition for members, and provides meeting flexibility for community and business leaders who might be unable to regularly attend lunch meetings. While the club will continue its focus on serving the community, fellowship, and great programs, the addition of two new meetings will allow Ashburn Rotary to expand its focus to include professional/leadership development, mentoring, and networking.
We are adding two new regular meetings each month in addition to our lunch meetings, service projects, and other events.
2nd Tuesday from 8:00 am to 9:00 am - Professional Development Meeting
at the Ashburn Volunteer Fire Department on Ashburn Rd.
&
4th Tuesday Beginning at 5:30 pm - Networking Happy Hour
at Top Golf at One Loudoun
As for your commitment in joining Ashburn Rotary, we ask that you attend at least 2 - 3 meetings per month that includes all meetings, events, and service projects. The morning and evening meetings have no dollar commitment. But as Rotary members, you will still pay Club, District, and RI dues that amounts to approximately $25 per month. Joining Rotary connects you with 2,000 District members, 30,000 Zone members, and 1.2 Rotary International members worldwide. With a global organization behind us, we can indeed change the world.
