Ashburn, VA August 27 – Beginning this year, the Ashburn Rotary Club will award three area high school seniors scholarships in 2014. One Interact Club member from Broad Run, Stone Bridge and Briar Woods will each receive a $500 scholarship to be used for college, university or vocational/trade school.

Interact is Rotary International’s service club for high school students and are sponsored by individual Rotary clubs. Interactors learn the importance of developing leadership skills and understanding the value of individual responsibility and hard work while serving their school and community through a variety of projects and activities.
