The Rotary Club of Ashburn, VA is pleased to welcome Ms. K. Lynn Tadlock, the Deputy Executive Director for the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, as our guest speaker this week.  
 
 
 
The Rotary Club of Ashburn, VA is please to welcome our guest speaker Ms. K. Lynn Tadlock to this week's meeting. Ms. Tadlock has a highly successful track record spanning 35 years serving as an experienced senior management executive in municipal government and philanthropy. Her achievements include preservation of over 7,000 acres of parkland, completion of over $300 million of construction projects, development of methodologies and standards for municipal park systems, and securing over $6 million dollars for community based projects.
 
Currently Ms. Tadlock is the Deputy Executive Director for the Claude Moore Charitable Foundation, one of the top private funding organizations in Virginia having contributed more than 57 million to charities and non-profits mostly in Virginia.
 
She serves on several boards including: the Washington Regional Area Grantmakers as Chair, Community Foundation Of Northern Virginia as Past Chair, Moorefield Station Conservancy Board of Directors, as Treasurer; Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and One Virginia 2021 Regional Chair.
 
Ms. Tadlock has contributed to the educational sector serving as Adjunct Professor in the School of Recreation, Health and Tourism at George Mason University teaching Tourism and Events Marketing, and was the featured lecturer on the Tour of Bulgaria, for the American Embassy, Bulgaria.
 
A frequent speaker at conferences and user groups, Ms Tadlock has published many articles and Op Eds on park planning, environmental land use, market trends, and policy issues.
