Join the Rotary Club of Ashburn as we celebrate Fat Tuesday at The V Eatery and Brewhouse and support "Free the Girls".  Free The Girls is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides job opportunities for survivors of sex trafficking.  We will be collecting cash and gently used bra donations at the event for the organization.  

Free the Girls then provides an opportunity for women rescued from sex trafficking to earn a living selling second-hand clothing while going to school, getting healthy, and caring for their families.  Selling clothes allows them to work as much or as little as their school schedule permits.  The women in their program receive their starting inventory as a donation, and are then able to buy additional inventory from Free The Girls for below wholesale value to help maintain their competitive edge in the marketplace.  Revenue from inventory sales helps subsidize overseas program costs.  Check out www.freethegirls.org for more information about what they do.
